Vivian Girls are back and have a new album coming out in September. Formed in New York City, the band made up of Cassie Ramone, Katy Goodman, and Ali Koehler quickly built up a cult following with the release of their debut 7″ single “Wild World” and their debut self titled album in 2008. Over the next 3 years the group would tour the world and release two more albums before calling it quits in 2011. Now based in Los Angeles with new found energy the trio recorded the new record “Memory” with producer Rob Barbato (Bleached, The Fall, Cold Showers), this past Fall. Lead single “Sick” embraces the bands love of grit and melody and captures the true essence of what Vivian Girls are all about. “Memory” will be available September 20th courtesy of Polyvinyl Records.
