Back in 2016 Kim Gordon released her absolutely crushing debut solo single “Murdered Out” which completely floored me. Now she’s announced her debut solo album “No Home Record” which was recorded with producer Justin Raisen (Charli XCX/Sky Ferreira). Today Gordon has released a video clip for the records lead single “Sketch Artist”. The highly experimental clip directed by Loretta Fahrenholz harnesses the primal energy of the song in grand fashion. It’s hypnotic stance and thunderous tones are nothing short of stellar. I really can’t wait to hear the rest of this 9 song record which comes out on October 13th courtesy of Matador Records.
