Brooklyn based musician Lizzy Kindred recently released this spectacular debut album titled “Pseudoscience”.  Blending aspects of synth pop and darkwave with ambient textures and a flair for the avant-garde the record takes you on a journey through multiple layers of what I’d describe as “cosmic energy”.

The menacing synths that flow through the opening minutes of “Wait” really set the scene for what’s to come as colorful sonic waves rise and crash alongside a minimal yet infectious beat.

“Neon” amps up the levels of mystery and intrigue even more. Kindred’s otherworldly vocal stance moves perfectly with the hypnotic melodies and pulsating tones as the underlying drones speak to the listener like a sea of long lost ghosts waiting to be heard again.

The murmuring nuances and glitchy beats featured on “Kilt” are absolutely stunning and showcase Kindred’s ability to manipulate sounds in the perfect way while “C4U” showcases even more areas of electronic experimentation.

Other highlights of  “Pseudoscience” include the slow crawling intensity of “Android Angel”, the relentless passion of “Moonlight” and the mystifying presence captured throughout “Multiverse”.

This is a tremendous record that takes you on a captivating ride of transcendental exhilaration. I can’t wait to hear what comes next.
