Nashville based ambient, electronic soundtrack artist Winston Harrison aka Fuzzmuzz recently released this ever so inspiring album “You Forget Me”.
Everything starts off with the radiant glow of “The Mood” as it’s lulling waves of soothing synths glide through the speakers like a rising sun on a blissful summer morning.
The atmospheric flow of “Unexpected” builds and builds throughout the track. It’s dreamy cinematic presence paints pictures in my mind that I can only describe as “undiscovered worlds through sound”.
“Stuck In The Past” reminds me in some ways of the legendary Philip Glass. It’s instrumentation and arrangement is hypnotically peaceful , comforting and warm while “Of Hope” incorporates some glitchy electronic beats into the mix alongside runs of flourishing synth melodies.
I’m curious about the opening sounds of “So I Dream”. It’s got an inspiring mechanical bit to it that I really enjoy. This eventually gives way to a sea of droning keyboards and ambient textures that are absolutely phenomenal in every way.
Meanwhile “Sly” is an excellent combination of frantic beats and melodies that I simply can’t get enough of.
Other favorites include the cosmic sounds of “Waiting”, experimental nature of “Release” and the near sixteen minute epic “On Purpose” which winds the album down in breathtakingly beautiful fashion.
This album is beyond the shadow of a doubt one of the best releases of 2022.
