Norfolk, Virginia based musician Elliott Malvas will hit the road this fall for a U.S. tour as a member of Boston indie rock legends The Swirlies from 10/31-11/9 which includes an appearance at Levitation Fest on Friday November 1st.

This week Malvas released a new single called “Sensitive Belonging” from his long running band You’re Jovian. The breezy, moody track is perfect for Fall and showcases Malvas ability to draw you in and get lost in the captivating sounds he’s creating.

Talking about the track Malvas said…

“The song began as a riff around December of last year. I believe I have the exact moment it happened on video. I had my guitar in a different alternative tuning than i normally use. One day I picked up that guitar and started playing but forgot about it being altered and the riff (melody) was born. I just had to connect the dots a bit and play with the structure. Lyrically it was pretty dynamic for me. I kinda went out of my normal idiosyncrasies. A lot was changing around this time for me and the lyrics/ song sorta sums up a lot for me personally. I wanted to release it in the fall as it’s my favorite time of year and just fits the ‘vibe’. I’ll be releasing more individual songs through out the year. Thanks to Chris Kendrick for helping me produce this and Jeff Zeigler for mastering it and all my close friends for taking time out of their valuable day to give me some feedback. Means a lot. Hope everyone enjoys.
