Dreamy, epic, breathtaking and ethereal. Those are all ways to describe the music Echoteka create on their self titled debut album.
Based in Warsaw, Poland it’s apparent this four piece band have worked hard to craft their sound by blending elements of post rock, 90’s alternative and shoegaze which is heavily reflected on tracks like “Tinnitus”, “Wydechy” and “Gdziekolwiek”.
Led by the guitar work and stunning vocal delivery of Jan Adam Krzemiński the band takes you on a sonic journey through evolving musical textures that incorporate just the right amount of nuances and dynamics to create the perfect hooks.
Guitarist Arkadiusz Pudełko adds his brand of magic to the mix while bassist Olaf Puchalski and drummer Franciszek Jędras lay down the foundation for everything in first rate form.
Other highlights include the moody sounds of “Prasa Hydrauliczna”, the undeniable glow of “Prasa Hydrauliczna” and the ominous presence of “Obrona Młodego Spawacza”.
Overall this is a stunningly elegant record sure to delight fans of eclectic, soundscape based rock n roll.
