The legendary CBGB closed in 2006 but the name was revived for the CBGB Festival from 2012-2014.
Now CBGB festival will return on September 27th 2025 with Iggy Pop, Jack White, The Sex Pistols (minus John Lydon) , The Damned and more set for performances at the one day event which will take place under the K Bridge in Brooklyn.
Some of the other 17 acts booked to play across 3 stages include The Melvins, Cro-Mags, Murphys Law, Angel Du$t and Marky Ramone.
Tickets go on sale Friday May 16 at 10 AM, with a presale starting Thursday, May 15 at 10 AM. There are also discounted “Young Punk” general admission tickets that will be available for NYC residents under 25. Those will be sold this Saturday, May 17 at the Music Hall of Williamsburg box office starting at 12 PM. There are 350 “Young Punk” tickets available, a tribute to CBGB’s official capacity, and they go for $73
