Nelly Was Nervous is a one-woman musical project fronted by the eponymous Nelly from Brooklyn, NY.
Today Nelly drops the visualizer for the 3rd single from her upcoming album “when the house bares its teeth”.
Reflecting on the song Nelly said…
“This was actually one of the first songs i remember writing for this album, specifically the bridge. I remember just fiddling around on my guitar after work one day as I usually do, and came up with a nice little arpeggio and vocal melody for it. The arpeggio would then be swapped out and later moved to a different song, but the chords and melody remained. From there it was just a process of working backwards to fully flesh out the song.”
