Van Chamberlain return just in time for summer to unveil “The Right Line,” a lush, groove-laden indie rock track that showcases the band’s gift for wrapping big questions inside an effortlessly cool, hook-driven sound. Reverb-soaked guitars and Van’s wistful vocals all build toward one of the band’s most infectious choruses yet.
“There was a point where it seemed like everyone around me was going through it at the same time. I didn’t have any of the answers, but I wanted to be a positive force. This is a song about wanting to give the people around you a reason to smile. It’s easy to write a song about what you’re going through. This time I wanted to write a song for everyone else.”
This is the latest glimpse of the Brooklynites’ sophomore release As Far As the Eye Can See, set to drop September 2026.
