Virginia Beach , psych rock trio Snake Mountain Revival are set to drop their second full length album “The Divide” on October 23rd courtesy of Ripple Music.
The group recently released the albums title track which is a hypnotic journey that blends lush colorful textures with blasts of dark sonic intensity.
Bassist/Vocalist Ryan Chandler leads the way with his rich, soulful vocals while guitarist George Spellman and drummer Josh Woodhouse push the envelope even further as the track reaches a cosmic realm that is nothing short of otherworldly.
Reflecting on the new record Chandler says “I mean to provoke. We always have. ‘The Divide’ isn’t all thorns and rough edges, though. A major juxtaposition in many of these songs intends to remind us what we might be fighting for. When we protect beauty, peace, love and contentment, sometimes we must show our fangs. We show ours with this new album.”
