As Mess Esque continue on their tour of the UK and Europe, with a solo show at Cafe Oto in London tonight, they now reveal ANOTHER new single! Scraped delicately from the embers of internal passions and rendered as music in their separate studios. Mess Esque clearly desire to share some space in our souls: “Liminal Space”!
As already established by the last month’s “Amour your Amor” single, the Mess Esque formula hypnotizes. Helen’s plaintive and private vocal delivery, accentuating Mick Turner’s guitaristic accents and nuances, draws focus into the unique cocktail of feels that is their music. Mick’s amblings have a leaning, and Helen directs it, a la their own “Sweet Spot”, speaking words that melt into coos, breaking down some of love’s mysteries while keeping others captured beautifully in amber.
