Lives Outgrown was released on Domino in 2024 to universal critical acclaim, including the New York Times, who raved, “Her new songs take a long view: pondering lifetimes and generations, connecting personal concerns to planetary ones,” and NPR, who wrote, “It is surprising, reassuring, inspiring even how lyrically familiar Lives Outgrown seems, the testament of an uncanny singer simply making it through each day. It feels as if she’s invited us over to sit a spell.” The album was nominated for the 2024 Mercury Prize and was awarded both TIME Magazine and the Boston Globe’s #1 Best Album of 2024. Lives Outgrown was further named one of the best records of the year by the New York Times, NPR, Paste, Flood, Treble, Uncut, MOJO, Crack Magazine, and more.
