mclusky’s unexpected yet eagerly-awaited new album the world is still here and so are we arrived last week via ipecac recordings. today, they continue their partnership with director remy lamont, a collaboration that has produced a series of standout videos matching the band’s wit and intensity, with the release of their latest clip, “autofocus on the prime directive”.
“‘autofocus on the prime directive’ is a series of patently untrue statements set to music by a man who can barely dress himself,” andrew falkous offers, in a truly andrew falkous way. “the title is not a reference to ‘star trek’ in any way but if it was I hope you’d understand.”
