Shoegaze pioneers Ride announced their upcoming album “This Is Not A Safe Place” back in April and gave us a preview with the dusky melodic new number “Future Love”. This week the band unveiled another song called “Repetition” which balances an uplifting tone and highly danceable groove with a crushing chorus filled with overdriven guitars and an undeniably infectious bassline. Andy Bell’s echoing vocal delivery shines brightly while a pulsating synth adds a welcoming 80’s nuance to it all. This one certainly has all the makings of an anthem. “This Is Not A Safe Place” will be available courtesy of Wichita Recordings on August 16th.
